My Friend's Brother is Alive Again

I'm absolutely baffled. I started reading the Reality Shift stories, and
told myself to be on the lookout for such things in my own life. I didn't
have long to wait. The mother of this girl I'd gone to school with died
about two weeks ago; listed as surviving was this girl's brother. The thing
is, I KNOW I read HIS obituary about ten years ago. I know I did, because
he was developmentally disabled and had a heart condition. Of course, when
I looked in the newspaper archives, his obituary was gone.
Note from Cynthia: Thanks so much for sharing your experience
hearing that
the previously-reported-dead brother of the girl you went
to school is alive again. This is an excellent case of a
highly memorable person having been reported dead, since
I take it you recall reading details about him and the challenges
in his life in his obituary. The times I've witnessed such
an "alive again" reality shift, newspaper archives no
longer showed the obituary. Sometimes, those I see alive
again I remember thinking and feeling, "I wish they hadn't
died!"... and I suspect such wishes often shift reality.
Shaking Earth
Kris

I had an interesting reality shift the other day - it was very early in the
morning. All of a sudden, I woke up from my sleep, because I could hear the
entire
building shaking, as if we were having a huge earthquake. The noise was so
loud,
and my entire body was shaking.
I ran outside, because I thought the building was
going to fall down on me. My heart was beating so fast I thought I was
going to
have a heart attack. I got out onto my patio to see that none of my bird
feeders
or garden ornaments were shaking. I could still hear the noise, and my body
could
still feel the earthquake, and I couldnt' get my heart to calm down!
I thought, "This is crazy, maybe a spirit from Japan is trying to let me
empathize with
their last moments in the earthquake, what else could it be?"
I wasn't dreaming - I was wide awake the whole time! it was like i
was in two realities at once - the earthquake one and the California that
wasn't having an earthquake!
Then, two days later, I sat down to read Carlos Casteneda's "The
Teachings of
Don Juan" and I was so wrapped up in it I finished it in one day --
but the interesting
part was when he said Mescalito, the spirit of the Peyote
plant, made him feel like
there was a huge earthquake taking place, the entire ground was
rumbling -- this
was one way the spirit communicated with him. So then I was
wondering if maybe
I had some sort of contact with Mescalito, because he knew I was
about to read about
him - who knows! I'm getting better at enjoying the mystery though
:)
Note from Cynthia: Thanks so much for sharing this reality shift
story!
Dreams sometimes afford us the possibility of accessing ideas and
information
directly, without the usual filters we have operating during ordinary
consciousness,
and free of the usual restrictions of being just in this one time and this
one space. Daydreams can be every bit as powerful as dreams... that is,
when we can be in two realities at the same time.
I love the way you were able to find a possible explanation for the
mysterious
shaking experience you felt in the book you were reading, noting how
sometimes
we can recognize a given spirit by their unique fingerprint of
energy.
Traffic Accident Vanishes
Leslee
Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
My reality shift was just before Obama came in office.
I was leaving work one day, when I looked down the street and saw there had
been an bad accident a block down. I needed to turn the other way, so I was
looking both ways. The accident had been a bad one, and the police were not
there yet! I remember looking down at two cars in the center lane crunched
together. It is a four lane with a turning center lane and they must have
both gotten in the center to turn at the same time. So they were facing
each other. I am an Artist and draftsman for a civil engineering firm. And
I am dyslexic, so I look at all most everything as a picture, including
words.
I looked back to where I had just seen the accident, and it was gone.
I had just looked one way, and then the other all of a second -- no way
could they have moved that fast! My next thought was that this was a
reality shift, and that Obama would be in office. And that thought was a
surprise as well, but I felt good the rest of the day... and forgot all
about it. I remember asking for a sign that things would be getting better.
I guess that was my sign. I don't know why I felt that Obama would be
president I just did. I remember thinking maybe in the other dimension were
the cars were, maybe he would not be. I have no idea if that is how it
works, that was just a thought. :)
I do think we may shift so smoothly most of the time we don't notice. I
think reality shifts happen a lot, but people just think they had to be
mistaken.
Note from Cynthia: What an amazing experience, to witness the
scene of a bad accident on the street one moment, and the next to see no
trace of it! How beautiful to look at most everything as a picture,
including words! And what an amazing sign to receive in response to your
request for one... two crunched-together cars in the middle of an
intersection suddenly cleared away. I do believe a lot more people see such
reality shifts on a regular basis than actually report them; these kinds of
experiences don't fall into clear-cut mental categories for most people who
haven't heard much about reality shifts. I find your state of mind
interesting after this reality shift, that you were left with a good
feeling the rest of the day, and also a certainty that Obama would be in
office.
