Quantum Jumps
The hundreds of first-hand accounts of reality shifts (aka: mind-matter interaction MMI, quantum jumping, glitches in the Matrix) on this and the following pages have been collected and shared through Cynthia Sue Larson's RealityShifters since 1999. Special issues focusing on particular types of reality shifts (such as: the Dead seen Alive Again, Seeing Loved Ones Before They Arrive, Invisibility, Walking through Walls, etc.) can be found by browsing through the RealityShifters archives and subscribing to the (free) monthly ezine. Hundreds of stories are reported here in this "Your RealityShifter Stories" section of this web site, and the phenomenon is documented in the best-selling books, Reality Shifts: When Consciousness Changes the Physical World, and Quantum Jumps: An Extraordinary Science of Happiness and Prosperity.

My Friend Has a Different Name
Mountain View, California, USA

Something has happened in my life that is a small thing, but I am at a loss to understand it, or even know if I should. I had or have a good friend. His name is or was Ford Dakota Henry. I have known him for three years. Ford Dakota Henry. All car related names. I have joked with him about his car related names many times in the past. He goes by Dakota. Two days ago, I found his identification card on the ground outside my house. His name reads Dakota P**** H******. I approached him and asked him about what I assumed was a fake ID. He says his name is not now, nor has it ever been Ford Henry, and I have never made a joke about his name sounding like cars. He thinks I am nuts but all his shown me his mail and other forms of identification and Ford Henry doesn't appear on any of them. He doesn't remember a lot of things that I remember doing together. He seems vaguely different. He seems more aggressive and distant. I don't know what or when this happened! Or what caused it. I am freaked out bad. I think I might be nuts, but I am certain that at some point my friend was Ford Dakota Henry, and I have no idea where this person is. Can you help?

Note from Cynthia: Wow, this is a truly hair-raising situation, for sure. Once you've ruled out the possibility that perhaps you just dreamt about teasing your friend with his three car-related names... and that you aren't the type to easily get names confused, then what we're left with here is the very strong possibility that you're in a different reality now than the one with your 3-car-names friend. Seeing changes in people is not uncommon. When I've chatted with friends about reality shifts and quantum jumps, I've heard from friends who travel frequently that one of the most common types of shifts they witness is with changes in friends and family, who can be either a little different or like an entirely different person. I've heard from a woman who wrote to me that her husband changes quite a lot, and rather often. Since I've personally witnessed people literally vanishing into thin air, and also having seen a person's name removed from a conference agenda (one minute he's listed on all the agendas in the room as giving a talk that afternoon, the next minute, POOF!, his name is nowhere to be found). These kinds of shifts are what I write about in my books, Reality Shifts, and Quantum Jumps. As far as answering your question what to do, I'd suggest learning more about this subject, as well as documenting this and other shifts you observe. Pay more attention both to what's going on inside you before and during such shifts, as well as what you notice happening around you in the world. You can learn more about this topic through reading past issues of my monthly RealityShifters ezine posted online at:, and through clicking through the links to my books on this subject, Reality Shifts and Quantum Jumps at amazon:

All Traces of First Restaurant Visit Gone
Redondo Beach, California, USA

I do mystery shopping, and some of my shops are at restaurants. There's a restaurant in town that recently opened. Not long after that, I got a notice from one of the mystery shopping companies with offers to shop this new restaurant. So one day I decided, "OK, let's go check this place out." So I signed up for the shop, and we went and did it. And, if I recall correctly, I got paid for it, too. Some months later, I got another offer to shop this restaurant. As I prepared to go do the new shop, I decided to look back at my notes from the previous shop. That isn't a usual thing to do, but for some reason I wanted to review those notes. I couldn't find the notes anywhere on my computer. I couldn't find a scanned receipt, a document file with notes, a PDF of the final report, an entry in my log or calendar, or even record of the payment. Then I looked on my job history with the company that offered the shop. I couldn't find anything about it there, either. It was as if it had never been done. If I were depending on just my memory, I would have decided that I must have dreamed it or something. But my husband has an eidetic memory. He remembered the first visit to the restaurant, too, and he said that it was definitely a shop visit. So now it's as if the event never happened except in our memories.

Note from Cynthia: I love your description of getting to dine at a restaurant for the first time twice—though of course, in your recollection, there really was a first time you visited even though all evidence of that experience vanished without a trace. This is such a marvelous example of experiencing alternate histories, and it reminds me of several occasions in which I have heard a song on the radio that I know quite well from hearing it having received extensive airplay, despite the announcer saying this is a brand new release. I am especially glad to hear that your husband shares your memory of having previously visited the restaurant, since this makes your memory real for both of you, even if there are no notes, log entries, or calendar entries. Very cool!

Our Nonstop TGV Train Stopped
Redondo Beach, California, USA

We were traveling in France, and we were going to take the TGV from one city to another. We were looking at the schedule board, and it said the name of the first city, "sans arête," and the name of the second city. My spouse, who knows enough French to know that meant "non-stop," jokingly said, "Oh, we're going to be stopping in Sans Arête. I told him, "Don't say that, or we'll stop!" As it happened, we did end up stopping somewhere midway through the journey. We were told that there had been a fire close to the track.

Note from Cynthia: This is one of those situations of the chicken and the egg—in which some people might say your husband is psychic, and others might say he is a very strong creator. I say that we are really and truly awareness, which allows us the ability to experience something akin to a handshake between future possibility and present time, so sometimes we say things that turn out to be predictive, even when such things are said in jest. Thanks so much for sharing this experience!

Observing Shifting Worlds

My name is Catalin Haiman , i am 30 years old from Romania and I have witnessed World shifts Consciously. When i say Worlds, I mean the whole world with everything in it - people, physical objects around me, even my computer and the files on it - it has happened three times since 2012.To me this it is a proof that it is actually a whole Universe shift, and that in fact, each of us is actually an Universe in itself. What i have witnessed to be truth is that everything is indeed a mirror and if you think at people being negative, you will get transferred in that reality to mirror what you are thinking; everything changes - the way you see colors, to match your state, and the landscapes you see around you. I began to be aware of this after I saw Bashar channeled by Darryl Anka in February talking about parallel realities on youtube. It's all an illusion, and we do create our realities, we are infinite beings and this is really a time of awakening, i quit my job as an engineer since then and i am following my passion, which is the main shifting engine in this time ! If you do something you like, but it's not fully representative of YOUR HIGHEST EXCITEMENT, because of definitions that you will not succeed, that people are this and that, etc, you will be in that reality! This is really happening.

Note from Cynthia: People who meditate can come to recognize that rather than thinking we are our thoughts or feelings, we can realize that our true identity is of being the one observing those thoughts and feelings. From such a sense of awareness in this present moment, great changes are possible in an instant. I love the way you raise the very important point about how much it matters now more than ever for us to do what brings the highest star of excitement and involvement and happiness, in order to experience the most enjoyable realities!

Wallet Disappears and Reappears
Berkeley, California, USA
I have a strange wallet - it's Blue and it's aluminum with a clamshell style and latch. Last night, I wanted to buy something at Trader Joe's, and went into my gym bag to get it, only it wasn't in the right compartment where I put it. Only two children and the teacher at the gym, so nobody stole it or anything - weird. I searched the entire bag twice, all the way through, then borrowed the money from a friend to buy the dog some condhritin / Glucosamine tablets - the only bottle on the shelf, with only dog food nearby it - weird, but there one was. Went home and forgot to look for it until just going to bed a moment ago, when it bugged me, and I went out and looked where it might have gone - in the recliner chair I sit in sometimes. Looking at the back where it meets the seat, I saw the edge of hand tooled leather, and reached in and pulled out my long lost Swiss Army Knife, in leather sheath. It had been missing for about six months, and I could not find it high or low before. Note that I had gone through the chair several times before, and tipped it over, too, looking for change, my wallet, and my big keyring, and never saw nor felt the Swiss Army Knife there before. This is a fairly big one with a dozen blades over an inch and a half thick, not including the case which I can barely get my hand closed around. Oh, then, for fun, I brought my gym bag to the dining room table, and took it all apart again, and when I looked in the right compartment, there was - The Blue Wallet, near the bottom, but standing up, not concealed under anything - right where I'd put it yesterday. I definitely don't know how this works. But I am glad for my Swiss Army Knife back, and my wallet too, as replacing all that stuff would have been a pain. Swiss Army Knife was not expected in the chair - the missing wallet could have landed there. ... and the missing wallet was not expected in the gym bag - I just went through it again for form. Glad I did.

Note from Cynthia: How marvelous that those missing items turned up before their replacement was required! Finding items exactly where we've just searched seems to be one of several recurring patterns that often occur when reality shifts. There's that moment when we're checking the same place over (and perhaps over and over again), and then, voila! Even though we are checking a place where the object might be, but hasn't been, there is a special kind of exhilarating thrill when there--at last--our lost item is!
