The hundreds of first-hand accounts of reality shifts (aka:
mind-matter interaction MMI, quantum jumping, glitches in the Matrix) on
this and the following pages have been collected and shared through Cynthia
Sue Larson's RealityShifters since 1999. Special issues focusing on
particular types of reality shifts (such as: the Dead seen Alive Again,
Seeing Loved Ones Before They Arrive, Invisibility, Walking through Walls,
etc.) can be found by browsing through the RealityShifters
archives and subscribing to the (free) monthly ezine. Hundreds of stories
are reported here in this "Your RealityShifter Stories" section of this web
site, and the phenomenon is documented in the best-selling books, Reality Shifts: When Consciousness Changes the
Physical World, and Quantum Jumps: An Extraordinary Science of
Happiness and Prosperity.
Both Berenstain and Berenstein Bears at Sams
Club
Susan
Maryland, USA
I thought you would find this interesting. I was shopping at a
Sam’s Club, owned by Walmart, here in Maryland, and saw a
Berenstain Bears book. I was curious to see what it said Berenstain or
Berenstein. Well it said both as you can see in this picture. It was too
cool not to share with you.
Note from Cynthia: WOW! What a find! Evidently, whoever posted
this item for sale on that store's computer system remembers the
"Berenstein" spelling that so many people also recall, despite the book
itself clearly being marked "Berenstain." I can't help but wonder whether
this Berenstain / Berenstein 'glitch' appears at other local Sams Clubs or
Walmarts in the area, or if it's an isolated case.

Alternate Reality for a City Block
Elena
Salem, Oregon, USA
I enjoy all of your columns and videos and I ve immersed myself in them
recently. I also started meditating with your cd. Naturally I became aware
of a pretty big reality shift that is ongoing. On different days there is
an entire block on Center st that changes completely. On some days the post
World War II homes are recently renovated, well cared for and maintained,
and there is a brand new market just before the end of the block. On
alternate days there are homes literally falling down, those still standing
are shabby and the old, run down market is still standing. There is a cute
little cafe in both realities, but it is seedy and a little scary in the
second one. I believe I started seeing this because of my deep concern for
our future, and my hope that we will choose the best possible future over
one which would make Ursula K Le Guin weep. The first reality is about that
hope, and I swear the sun even shines brighter on it. The second is about
despair, and I feel the anger and resentment of the people living there
when I drive by. They are the difference between a world in which the
events that took place in Paris last night (November 13, 2015) escalate and
become commonplace, and one in which the changes sweeping Myanmar spread.
As I have been meditating, etc, I am seeing the hopeful version pretty
exclusively (and there was a day it changed from decrepit to nice mid
block.) I’ve often thought that Mandela lived to be an old man
and did not die in prison because we collectively voted on that much more
hopeful reality. I’ve been thinking a lot about the Lathe of
Heaven recently-this may not be the reality we started out with, and thank
God. I would be very interested in your take on this. Thank you
Note from Cynthia: Thank you for writing to me and describing the
alternate realities you are seeing with a changing block on Center Street
that is alternately either falling down into a state of neglect and
disrepair, or renovated and well maintained. I have also encountered
various realities that have one day been one way, only to switch back and
forth from day to day to another reality--so I can empathize with how it
feels to see such noticeable and seemingly inexplicable changes. I've seen
my dog's eyes glazing over with cataracts one day, and completely clear the
next. I've seen the rain gutters on my next door neighbor's fence sometimes
being covered with leaf guard screen protectors, and sometimes not. I've
found that whichever way my head/heart/gut leaned in "voting" ended up
matching the way such realities ended up. Having said all this, I do
believe that the optimism each and every one of us musters in challenging
times definitely has a global, positive effect. There is much we gain when
we long to know the answer to the question, "How good can it get?" as we
wish the best for all concerned, and often we can directly see the result
of simply staying focused on what we know is good. I'm really glad to hear
that as you meditate and stay positive, you're seeing the hopeful version
for the most part. How fascinating to have witnessed it change one day from
neglected to nice mid-block one day! Yes, it does seem entirely possible
that enough of us wished for Nelson Mandela's freedom, health, and
longevity that we ended up experiencing that reality. And it seems entirely
possible that on a cosmic scale, such collective consensus reality
selection will one day be part of the explanation for how we ended up in
such a finely-tuned universe! Joining you in envisioning a better world,
love always, Cynthia
Schrodinger's Jacket
Vincent
Houston, Texas, USA
I came across you after hearing you on a recent podcast
My story seems to fit the idea of parallel realities.
Simple story: I left my favorite windbreaker at a local coffee house over a
weekend. The jacket went missing on Friday and I clearly had an image of
using the jacket to cover my ipod as I went to the restroom. I had
initially thought I had left it at a pizza place. When I went to the pizza
place on Sunday, they had no idea about a jacket left. Then I decided to
call the coffee house, named Beans.
I called them and they immediately stated that the jacket was there, they
confirmed the color and the emblem etc. I could come by any time and pick
it up.
When I went there, I told them I was the guy who left his jacket. The
staff said, "Don't worry, it's here." They then began to look into every
cabinet, stating, "I know it’s here. I remember seeing
it.” They then decided to call the manager, who was working on
Friday, to ask him where it might be. If that's where it ended, it would be
a case of confusing jackets. A customer at the store picked up on the story
and asked me a question, "Was it a windbreaker with an arrowhead on one
arm, and SI on the other?" (SI refers to Sports Illustrated, and Arrowhead
is the emblem for Kansas City Chiefs.) I said, “Yes, it was.
Why?”
He replied," I saw the jacket outside on Saturday night. For some reason
I took the jacket and put it in the back seat of my truck. Here, let me
show you."
Now, I am a 59 year old white man, and he was a 30ish white guy; both
of us could use some exercise. This scenario sounds like a bizzare
abduction scenario, but I didn't sense that this was a dangerous person.
He opened the back door of his truck, and lo and behold, there was my
jacket! I thanked the man and drove home.
After listening to you, I began to think:
(1) In reality one, the manager found the jacket and put it in some
cupboard (hopefully for 1-2 days only).
(2) In reality two, this jacket was in the store for a couple of days, only
to be picked up by this customer on Saturday night.
(3) It is only when these stories merge that I would have gone into that
store with the employees believing the one reality, the obscure second
reality revealing itself. It is very doubtful that I would have gone to
the coffee shop had the employees not stated that they had found the
jacket.
It’s like Schrodingers cat! My jacket was both found and
lost.
Note from Cynthia: Wow, this account of what happened to your
jacket gives me goose bumps, and I've been experiencing these kinds of
shifts for years! I love the way you take care to describe the sequence of
events, and the way you bring awareness to a sense of how it feels to
experience overlapping realities, whose existence can be found in peoples'
memories when comparing recollections about what transpired. And only when
comparing these accounts with one another do we pick up the trail of
reality shifts that becomes illuminated as the simplest explanation for how
your jacket ended up in somebody's truck a day earlier, when the Beans
coffee shop had just told you they had it, and to come over and pick it
up!
Books that Change
Charles
I came across your website and some of your youtube and found the subject
matter very intriguing and I think very much related to the a book I have
by Hugh Everett. Everett's Many Worlds Theory and your
realityshifters.com answers many strange things that have occurred to
me both in my childhood and adult life as well. Recently, I was rereading a
book that I have read many times before and had performed some of the
actions many times over a period of years only to read as of last week that
the wording—has changed. This has happened to me on more than
one occasion. I literally couldn't believe my eyes as I reread it several
times. I have little in the way of doubt, that our reality does indeed
shift, and does so many times in the total absence of our conscience
perception. Because of this, the management of my thoughts and emotions,
now occupies the very highest priority. Thank for furthering my awakening
of something so incredibly fascinating. The passage in the book was
actually part of a type of prayer that I have known by heart for many
years, and have have recited hundreds of times. It was identical to what I
have always known it to be for more than 15 years, except the ending
portion was different by just one word. The word "within" which was what I
have always known it to be, had somehow become the word
“behind." I thought to myself, “Have I been reciting
it wrong for 15 years? No way.” This particular book was used as
a reference book and is heavily worn and its the only copy I have ever
owned. Very strange, and hard to believe that a passage such as this one
which was committed to memory for many years—changed. The change
was just one word mind you, but I know like I know the back of my hand that
that word was not there before.
Note from Cynthia: I'm deeply impressed that the change in this
book involves a passage you committed to heart from a prayer in a book that
you've only ever had one copy of. What makes this case of reality shift /
quantum jump / alternate history so fascinating to me is that it seems
highly unlikely that you would have been reciting this passage incorrectly
for the past 15 years. The change of one word from "within" to "behind"
indeed seems significant, and I'm glad you noticed this and shared it.
Truly amazing! Thank you for writing to me about your experience rereading
a book that you've read many times before, only to find last week that the
wording has changed! I've had this experience with books as well, as I've
written about in my book, Reality Shifts, so I can certainly empathize with
the sense of astonishment one gets when you reread the changed passage
several times.
