The hundreds of first-hand accounts of reality shifts (aka:
mind-matter interaction MMI, quantum jumping, glitches in the Matrix) on
this and the following pages have been collected and shared through Cynthia
Sue Larson's RealityShifters since 1999. Special issues focusing on
particular types of reality shifts (such as: the Dead seen Alive Again,
Seeing Loved Ones Before They Arrive, Invisibility, Walking through Walls,
etc.) can be found by browsing through the RealityShifters
archives and subscribing to the (free) monthly ezine. Hundreds of stories
are reported here in this "Your RealityShifter Stories" section of this web
site, and the phenomenon is documented in the best-selling books, Reality Shifts: When Consciousness Changes the
Physical World, and Quantum Jumps: An Extraordinary Science of
Happiness and Prosperity.
If You Build It They Will Come & Sex in the
City
Chris
Redmond, Washington, USA
Thank you for your information and insights! I heard you recently on a
radio talk show, and was blown away by the questions and how my answers
were different from what is true in this reality! Funny enough, the other
day I was watching an old episode of "Sex AND the City" (which I remember
as Sex IN the City), and one of the characters made reference to the Field
of Dreams quote, "If you build it HE will come,” which I
remember as "If you build it THEY will come." Very interesting stuff!
Note from Cynthia: Whoa--hold everything--you're the first one to
notify me regarding the change in the movie dialogue from the Kevin Costner
movie, "Field of Dreams," which I clearly remember used to be, "If you
build it, they will come"! Good heavens! Sometimes I will see changes in
movie dialogue that is not nearly so significant as to be the most famous
line of dialogue in the whole movie, which then catches on and is
remembered and repeated by people for years afterward. I'm so glad you
mentioned this one to me--and of course so many people have noticed that
"Sex and the City" used to be "Sex IN the City."

I Heard My Friend Before She Arrived
Frances
England, UK
One thing that happened to me was in my early twenties when I was living in
France. I was spending the weekend with a friend I'd made over there, and
she had a heated argument with her father, and walked off. I went down to
their garage/basement area, and I heard someone walking towards the garage
on the shingle stones. I looked to the garage entrance and waited for her
to walk in, but she didn't appear. I went to look, and she wasn't
there—no-one was there. Not very long afterwards she returned,
walking on the shingle stones and in through the door of the garage. I was
amazed, because I had realised that I knew she was coming.
Note from Cynthia: Your experience hearing the sound of your
friend in France walking toward the garage some time before she actually
did appear is remarkable! Something like this has also happened to me one
day when I heard my daughter and her friends come home and walk up to the
front door quite some time before they actually arrived that afternoon.
This type of phenomenon in which loved ones are seen or heard before they
arrive is something so common in Norway that they have a word for it,
Vardogr, which I describe along with further examples in the October 2010

Shifting through Time
Russell
Sunnyvale, California, USA
Perhaps time is merely the perceptual shifting of consciousness from one
parallel reality to another. The mind shifts, not the body. Sometimes I
notice memories of the past that are not in accordance with the present
facts. For example memories of people that I knew have changed and they no
longer have the same memories as I do. Some movies have also changed
slightly. I am shifting into alternate realities—strange but
true—seems like all possible histories could be on a bell cure
of sorts. For 17 years my route to work was 12.3 miles. Now it is 12.0
miles— The exact same route—different reality?
I would speculate that the shifts like a movie projection or a flashing
hologram and are happening at a flash rate of c, the speed of light in
vacuum. This is the non-local mind, which is both re-expanding the
wave-function and re-collapsing the wave function into the finite localized
version of self, or the body.
The Universal Wave Function is the Mind of God - the Source of all Being.
The localized wave function is your "soul" or spirit, similar to the
concept of mind and heart - your non-local mind that identifies with the
body and the "brain". the brain could be like a musical instrument that
tunes into your consciousness or is created by consciousness.
Note from Cynthia: Yes, I'd agree that the mind makes the jumps
and shifts, not the body. I'm glad to know you have noticed a range of
different kinds of such jumps. The difference in driving time intriguing.
Once you've ruled out any other possible explanation (such as different
sized tires on your car), that is a really interesting reality
shift!
Neighbor Living with a Black Woman
Glen
Gary, Ontario, Canada
I have another strange reality shift story.
At my residence, there's neighbors across the street where a young family
lives. I know the father of the family, who is a younger brother of one of
my high school friends, his older sister.
How this goes, a few years back, probably from 2000-2010, I noticed he was
living with a Black woman. I did see his current Wife (Today) a caucasian
woman. He is now married to her and living there today. They have three
children. A year ago, I asked his older sister during a coffee visit, and
learned they recently married two years ago—a late marriage I
guess. I mentioned, "What happened to the Black woman her brother was
living with a couple of years ago?" She looked at me puzzled, "What black
woman?” She answered that her brother was NEVER with a black
woman, not at all. And yet, I distinctively remember her driving and coming
and going from their house for two years. She did in fact live there with
him. I didn't see his current wife visit or anything, I assumed the
children were with her. I told the sister the details I knew, and she still
reacted like I was seeing things—making things up. I added that
if this was some kind of a family secret, I wouldn't say a thing. She
insisted there was No such woman with her brother. I didn't argue the
point, as I began to realize I was remembering something else, a different
reality. Do I still see the black woman in town? Yes I do. Sometimes I want
to somehow get to know her, ask her about Living with that person in
question. I know how silly and strange it would sound, even to me, if
someone approached me asking about some event or detail I don't know about.
Or, ask like, "Did you ever Live across from me at such & such time, years
2000-2009? I don't remember the exact years.” And another thing;
I asked around, casually, "Did anyone remember the black woman living with
that Neighbor?" My own family doesn't recall. So, I'm the only one who
remembers this black woman, who lived with that man.
Note from Cynthia: Wow--I can really relate to how strange it
must feel to remember something that nobody else (yet) recalls--especially
something as noticeable as a neighbor's significant other no longer being
part of an interracial couple. And how interesting that you sometimes see
the woman you remember your neighbor having lived with around town from
time to time. I can't think of an off-hand, casual way to broach the
subject of whether she might have any connection to your neighbor other
than directly asking her if she might happen to know him, or if she might
have happened to ever live on that street.
