House in my village changed, and changed back
Clair
Australia
I had a reality shift today. I walked past a house in my
village that had been sold a few years ago and painted and modernized with new
fencing. It was back in its old state with no fence, and looking really
shabby with a for sale sign outside. I felt a bit confused, and wondered if
I'd been mistaken about what I thought I'd seen in the past. I then forgot
about it. I went to a coffee shop where I stayed for about an hour, then
headed back. I walked past the house again, and it was back to being the
modernized version! I love it when reality shifts happen, because it is
exciting and fascinating, but I can't tell anyone else, because when I've
mentioned it in the past I have been disbelieved which I guess is
understandable. Do you think the Universe is trying to convey a message when
these things happen? I'm always experiencing Mandela Effects. I just got your
newsletter, and thought to myself , "ah, I can tell Cynthia". Have a great
day. How good can it get?
Note from Cynthia: Thank you so very much for sharing this
experience you had walking past a house in your village that had been sold a
few years ago and modernized, that suddenly had been back to its previous
shabby state--and then after you walked back past it again, it was back to the
cleaned-up version. That is really interesting, and definitely the
kind of topic that most people still don't typically enjoy discussing in
depth--possibly partly due to most people not yet fully integrating and
accepting such experiences as being truly real, and not merely confusion or
mis-remembering. What I love about this experience you just had is
that quite clearly we can rule out confusion and mis-remembering, since you
were so surprised both walking on the way to the coffee shop, and then again
walking back from the coffee shop to see the house both times be quite
different than you had last seen it. And we know such changes are not
anything that can be done that quickly! So in this case, the simplest
explanation is that you are not mis-remembering, but rather you actually did
observe rather massive physical changes to reality. And these kinds of
observations have truly profound, deeply meaningful implications for us
all. I like to view reality shifts from an optimistic philosophical
stance, along the lines of what philosopher Nicholas Rescher describes in his
book, Axiogenesis, which does not specifically address reality shifts, but
which clearly allows room for reality to be continuously reshaped in the most
positive overall direction.

I am wondering if anyone else experienced this today, I wasn't
sure if I should put it on Facebook or email you so here it is. I saw
that Thich Nhat Hanh passed on January 22, 2022 (Vietnam time, so different
day). I swear I remember that he passed last year in either January or
February. I remember people online commenting on it and friends who
followed him being a little sad, but knowing he lived a long time.
Then I see today that he just passed. I looked it up in several places
and they all say 2022. Do you know of anyone else who is experiencing this
memory? One of the women in my Tuesday healing group thinks she remembers
Thich Nhat Hahn passing previously too, though she says the memory is vague
for her.
Note from Cynthia: I just heard from someone who wrote to me saying
that she remembers that Thich Nhat Hanh passed away a few months ago, back in
2021--so you are not alone with this memory!
Haas avocado on receipt
Alice
Washington, USA
I have corresponded with you in the past regarding some of the
Mandela effects. I am a professional shopper and I am also a lifelong
avocado eater as I come from California originally. My mother and I used to
jokingly over-pronounce Haas, as in haaa-aaas avocado. More recently, my son
told me of his new coworker, a younger gal named Haas. My son
said to her, I imagine you hear this a lot, but are you related to the people
the avocado is named after? She said she is surprised how often this
comes up, because the avocado is spelled Hass, it always has been, and her
name is Haas, she has nothing to do with any avocados. This kind of made me
sad. I imagine she is between 20-30 something years old and she knows
the avocado only as Hass and she doesn't understand the confusion concerning
the spelling of her name. The avocado was spelled HAAS for me until I
heard about the Mandela effect concerning it in 2018-19. Up until then
I shopped for customers daily, putting HAAS avocados in their cart.
Upon hearing about the ME, they all suddenly changed to HASS in my reality,
overnight. It was very abrupt and shocking to me. So here is another
remnant. While shopping for a customer about a week ago, I looked up
to the screen on the cash register and saw this HAAS scroll by. No
where else is it spelled the old way. Not on the shelf tag, not on the
produce tags either, I went back and looked before leaving the store. I'm
glad this residue or remnant showed up for me.
Note from Cynthia: Thank you so very much for sharing this receipt
showing Haas Avocado--this is amazing to see appear on a receipt in January
2022! This kind of reminder is reassuring to many people who do have a
recollection of the spelling now being different in this exact way.
The Mandela Effect phenomena does not seem to involve people all noticing the
same changes at the same time, and it can be fascinating to note some
people--especially younger people--not remembering certain things such as the
way Hass avocados used to always be known as Haas. I also remember
sounding out how to pronounce a word with a double "a" like that, and would
quietly mentally sound out a long "ahhhh" sound to myself most every time I
saw the word.
Strange Doings
Gillian
Montana, USA
I'm writing to report two rather unusual happenings! First,
when we were in Arizona two years ago, we went to a Christmas fair where we
found a Navajo jeweler selling his creations. I was really drawn to a pair of
silver earrings with a small sapphire depicting cosmic events! I believe they
were $80. I had them and carried them to Pine, our next destination. When we
packed up from that house, I was sure I had them, but could only find one
earring. I looked all over the floor and around, but couldn’t find
the second (each were different!) When we returned to Montana, I only had one
earring, which was quite bothersome! In the meantime, I had an intricate
wooden jewelry box that I had picked up at an estate sale before we went to
Arizona. A couple of months ago, I was looking for something in the jewelry
box and inexplicably found the missing earring! I was dumbfounded! Second, we
bought a large TV in the past two years with technology where the sound was
built into the screen—amazing surround sound with no speakers! I
had a stereo system with a 5-CD changer plugged into our former TV that
provided both sound and played movies. This system was useless with the new
TV, so I disconnected it and moved it upstairs to be our source of music (no
TV). After a short while, the CD changer broke, and the CD disc changer was
broken, and stuck in the extended position and would not retract or
play—just sticking out and immovable, no matter what I did or how
many times I tried turning it on and off. I made fervent calls and prayers
for it to be fixed on the night I was decorating our Christmas tree. I wanted
Christmas music! I heard very distinctly that the power needed to be
turned on, so I complied! I also knew that I needed to step away for a
short while before I tried it out. Ten minutes later, I came back and
the disc turntable retracted and it has worked like clockwork ever since!
Also did the same over chili pepper lights that wouldn’t turn
on—they magically worked after prayers and calls over them! These
may not sound like much, but they have been inexplicable miracles for
me… and proof of Light at work in my humble life!
Note from Cynthia: Wow, these two experiences are awesome reality
shifts! I really appreciate the "little things," since sometimes they
can feel deeply meaningful. Finding that missing earring is wonderful,
especially in such an unexpected place. And how marvelous to get to
hear your Christmas music on a CD player that had been broken for so
long! I also like to ask angelic friends to assist when mechanical
devices are broken--and oftentimes, they do amazingly start working
again. It's actually my very favorite way to fix things!
Baking soda Mandela Effect
Sandy
Houston, Texas, USA
There have been many arguments about baking sodas having
aluminum in them to the point that some natural sodas say aluminum free. But
now, Arm & Hammer which was known to have aluminum in it does not have it
listed. And the internet says that all baking sodas are aluminum free, but
some baking powders have aluminum in them. Most do not. Even the old box I
have does not say aluminum, only sodium bicarbonate. Why would some of them
say Aluminum Free if it had never had aluminum in it? It's just very
intersting to me because this was an issue I addressed in my own buying some
years ago.
Note from Cynthia: That's interesting that you remember baking soda
sometimes containing aluminum. This was not 'on my radar,' but I can
really appreciate how it stands out for you, when you know you weren't mixing
that up with baking powder. I'd be interested to know if other people remember
that baking soda sometimes had aluminum in the mix. From the devil's advocate
position of conventional logic, some people might attribute baking soda
packaging saying "Aluminum free" simply because the good folks in those
companies realize that there has been some confusion from consumers who get
brain fogged and mix up baking soda and baking powder. From the quantum
timeline jumping perspective, this advertising packaging statment is necessary
because so many people remember that there used to be some kind of inclusion
of Aluminum in baking soda in a reality that is no longer officially
recognized.
