Quantum Jumps
The hundreds of first-hand accounts of reality shifts (aka: mind-matter interaction MMI, quantum jumping, glitches in the Matrix) on this and the following pages have been collected and shared through Cynthia Sue Larson's RealityShifters since 1999. Special issues focusing on particular types of reality shifts (such as: the Dead seen Alive Again, Seeing Loved Ones Before They Arrive, Invisibility, Walking through Walls, etc.) can be found by browsing through the RealityShifters archives and subscribing to the (free) monthly ezine. Hundreds of stories are reported here in this "Your RealityShifter Stories" section of this web site, and the phenomenon is documented in the best-selling books, Reality Shifts: When Consciousness Changes the Physical World, and Quantum Jumps: An Extraordinary Science of Happiness and Prosperity.

changed totem pole in Wyandotte
Changed Totem Pole in Wyandotte
Autumn
Riverview, Michigan, USA

I wanted to share what I consider an interesting Mandela Effect. I live in an area that was previously settled by native Americans, and the town just north of me (Wyandotte) has a totem pole in their downtown area. I didn't grow up here, but I've always thought it was neat, and I've spent a lot of time looking at it over the past several years. I paid a lot of attention to the shape of it because it has a part that sticks out and upward. I haven't seen that on other totem poles. I'm around it quite often, and I always look at it when I'm nearby, but recently, the totem changed! I remember it having a rounded top, but now, there is a big turtle on top, perpendicular to the pole. So the turtle's head and legs are poking out very obviously, in addition to the shell of course. It's also bright green and really stands out. I've never heard of anyone adding on to an existing totem pole, but I tried to find something in our local paper or the city's website to see if there was a reason for this turtle, and it seems the turtle was always there since it was carved (over 50 yrs ago)! Also, on google, I found a plaque that mentions it having a turtle, although I don't believe I've read the plaque in person. Anyway, I just thought it was neat! I don't know an exact date, but I'm sure it wasn't there on Valentine's day, and it was there by March 4th (because I remember telling my friend about it the day after her birthday). I went to a bakery nearby sometime in between those dates, and that's when I first noticed it. It's very prominent! As far as my reaction to it, I initially thought it was odd that it was there, particularly the way it was angled, but as time goes on, I'm growing to like it more. Almost like it's watching over us. I believe that some Native Americans have a legend about the world itself being on a turtle's back, so to me, that seems supportive. I also like the shell aspect of turtles because that feels protective, but also sort of self sufficient. A turtle doesn't need anyone else's help because he can go within! Also, growing up on a river, I always loved that turtles seemed at home both on land and in the water. I definitely view them in a positive light, so I like this change, although I'm perplexed by it.

Note from Cynthia: Wow, this is truly amazing with regard to the changed totem pole in Wyandotte!  When I look at photos of the Wyandotte totem pole, I'm first impressed by the turtle so prominently featured at the top—and it really is rather different than the rest of the totem pole!  Apparently, this pole was carved in 1971 out of western red cedar by Gordon Watkins of Aurora, Oregon.  Watkins apparently followed the art form originated by the Indians of the Pacific Northwest.  But the remarkable aspect of your experience is that you only recently noticed the turtle at the top, which is such a prominent feature that it seems nearly impossible to miss, since it's at the very top of the pole, like an angel or star placed atop a Christmas tree--it was created to be noticed and stand out! Thanks so much for sharing what turtles mean to you.  I like turtles, too, and have heard of the story of the world being supported by a turtle--which some people say came about because when some turtles come out of the soil in the springtime, it looks like they are carrying earth and plants on their back!

Strange Happenings
Autumn
Riverview, Michigan, USA

I feel like I've been having an unusual amount of synchronicities and Mandela Effects recently, usually positive or neutral. Honestly there are too many to list, but I just had the oddest thing happen. Not a Mandela Effect, but definitely weird! I'm in my apartment with my husband and cat. It's a very quiet night here, no neighbor noise to speak of, but I went in my walk-in closet to change, prior to bed. After a few minutes, I heard my husband (I thought) in the bedroom speaking to our cat, and she was responding in her usual manner. She's very vocal! I wasn't listening too intently because it was obvious he was speaking to her and not me, and then I heard him say "Are you talking to me?" I came out of the closet, and found he wasn't even in the bedroom, but halfway down the hall. He apparently had been in his bathroom down the hall, and he heard me whispering to him. He said I sounded scared, and he was worried I needed help. But I didn't say anything! And neither did he, prior to the "Are you talking to me?" Also, we both thought the cat was with the other one of us. Who knows where she actually was, because she can't tell us, but once we found each other, she was behaving very strangely. I don't know what to think of this, particularly because he's positive I called him by his name. Have you heard of anything like this? It seems very improbable that we would both hear things that aren't being said at the same time! I just can't think of an explanation, particularly with it being so quiet here. Thank you for reading, and if you get a moment, I would love to hear your thoughts on this!

Note from Cynthia: Thank you so much for writing to me sharing this recent odd event hearing your husband inthe bedroom, speakign to your cat, and you could also hear that she was responding.  That's so interesting that you then heard your husband ask if you were talking to him--which was the point where you saw that he wasn't even where you heard him (in the bedroom) but rather somewhere else entirely! And then when you found the cat--who was not where either of you thought--she was behaving strangely.  Yes, I have heard of such things, though typically the most common varieties of this experience involve one person hearing the other, who denies having said what was heard.  Your experience is super interesting to me, since you and your husband both had such an experience--and at the same time.  As far as explanations as to what happened, this is indeed a classic reality shift, which I write about in my book, "Reality Shifts."  There are many possible causes, which I've written about in my books, Reality Shifts and Quantum Jumps.

Loose glasses fit perfectly now
Alicia
Los Angeles, California, USA

This just happened today and I'm very puzzled over it.  I have a pair of distance glasses that were very loose, so loose they would almost fall off my face if I was wearing a mask. It was super annoying, and I had decided to just get new frames to solve the issue. When I'm working, I wear reading glasses. This morning, I got up from the computer and put on my distance glasses to do something and immediately realized they had been tightened. They now fit perfectly on my face and don't slip at all. Uh— I didn't do it. My husband didn't do it. I even checked to make sure I wasn't somehow wearing his glasses, but that clearly wasn't the case. In fact, when I told him about it later, he tried them on and said they fit him perfectly too.  Are there elves living in my apartment that fix glasses? I am so weirded out by this, Cynthia. However, I did remember to pause and say thank you for this unexpected gift. It's getting pretty good from what I can tell! I indeed had been thinking that I needed new glasses a few days before this happened, and that was uppermost in my mind also. It feels like there has been an increase in some sort of telepathy lately, and this was part of it.

Note from Cynthia: Wow! What an amazing and wonderful experience to find your distance glasses suddenly began fitting you perfectly, after having been so loose for so long.  It’s interesting that you read the question about elves, since there is a long history of awareness by people around the world on all continents, reporting the presence of this kind of activity attributed to elves and little people.  If we consider the possibility that for whatever reason, sometimes our thoughts and feelings are heard by others in our surroundings, then this sort of mysterious adjustment of your glasses fits well into the pattern, noticed by people for thousands of years that such things sometimes occur.  I am open to considering all possible exclamations related to mind matter interaction.  For those of us who are open to receiving assistance from garden and house elves, it is possible to sometimes experience some of the most delightful Reality Shifts!  I recently wrote about my experience, finding a tiny carpet colored screw, just where I was hoping it might appear, where it had not been before, and this might just be the work of house elves.

in the company of wolves
Company of wolves
Alicia
Los Angeles, California, USA

I just finished reading the March newsletter and wanted to comment on the "lion shall lay down with the lamb" story that was in it. There was a movie that came out in 1984 called "The Company of Wolves" directed by Neil Jordan that had this line spoken in it. I remember it clearly. There is a scene where a priest is giving a sermon and he reads that passage, saying "and the lion shall lay down with the lamb". The irony is, this movie is about werewolves! I want to try and find the movie and watch it again to see if this line has now changed. I'll report back after I do and tell you what I find. In the meantime, here's a still photo from the movie. I find the wolves funny now.

Note from Cynthia: What a treasure of a find you have with that movie, "The Company of Wolves," with the line you remember from that epic Mandela Effected Bible passage.  I'd love to know what you find out, when you get a chance to watch it again! There definitely are telepathic aspects to reality shifts that most people experience, from what I've seen over the past 25 years of sharing these first-hand reports each month.  Physical reality absolutely responds to our thoughts and feelings, with most noticeable such effects when we are most powered by emotion--similar to what Dr. Bernard Beitman scientifically surmised in his synchronicity research that he spoke to me about in this recent podcast interview: Meaningful Coincidences with Bernard Beitman

Bible Isaiah
Wolf in Bible
Mindy
Roswell, Georgia, USA

I have asked five people now, including my extremely knowledgeable Bible study teacher, and they never remembered the wolf lying down with the lamb! I am visiting my dad in Nashville, and I found two Bibles. One copyright in the 1920s, and the other in the 1960s, and they both say wolf—I am blown away!

Note from Cynthia: Wow—this is so truly amazing, when you see the very Bibles you grew up with worded so differently than so many of us remember. Thank you for letting me know you heard from your bible study teacher, and the five people you asked don't recall anything about a wolf lying down with the lamb!

My doctor's and nurse's faces changed
Alma
Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Something very odd happened. I went to see the doctor yesterday. The nurse calls me and when I look at her, it was her but her face was slightly different. The same thing with the doctor! The nurse’s face was narrower, the eyes not as big. The doctors lips were narrower and her eyes, usually very big not so much. I wish I could have taken photos but that would have been very odd. The faces were different from the last time I had seen them which was two weeks previous. The odd thing with the doctor is that the face kept changing slightly as we were talking. I had a hard time concentrating on what she was saying. This did not happen with the nurse.  The other staff looked just like usual.  I had no particular thoughts except getting my blood work results. The nurse’s face was a complete shock and the only thing I could think to tell her was asking how was the baby doing.  When the doctor came in it was a WOW!  I made sure to check the surroundings to see if anything such as furniture, pictures, etc had changed. But, everything looked the same.  What happened there?! This is something I will never forget. I thought about maybe jumping a timeline, but everybody else’s faces remained the same.  Unsettling indeed, particularly because it was so unexpected.

Note from Cynthia: This is such a humdinger of a reality shift, since it seems you saw this doctor and nurse within a short enough time span that such huge differences were pronounced and unmistakable.  I can empathize with how it must have been difficult to concentrate and focus on what they were saying to you when their appearances had changed so much.  And nobody popped out from behind a curtain with a camera, saying, "You're on candid camera!"  As far as what happened—this is the kind of thing I've occasionally received reports of over the past 25 years.  It seems that such changes in people can and do sometimes occur, and they are almost always rather startling.  What's really interesting about your experience is that your doctor's face kept changing even while you were talking with her.  That is truly disconcerting.  It's very interesting that nothing else seemed to have changed.

Helping weather in Berlin and neighborhood miracle
Kat
Berlin, Germany

Just a little story for you. :-) Quite a while ago, you talked about it in one of your videos on your Youtube channel (I think in conversation with Michael Sandler, who is such a nice guy) that the trees around you attract water via energy spirals. Well, our Berlin trees had already suffered a lot in the last decade. Berlin is a very green city, we have big lakes and forrest and lots of street trees. The last four years in particular have taken a toll on our street trees. Anyway, I walked the streets and remembered your energy spirals. So, I said to myself and the universe, “Wouldn't it be great if all of our trees remembered the ability to draw their water when needed. How good can it get for all of us and the planet?!” Guess what? We had the first winter in a long time with a lot of rain. We even had more snow than in the past. Instead of two days shortly before Christmas and then the farewell snow-day in March, it rained, snowed and hailed ice again and again. A wet winter. What a fantastic information from you—thank you so much! Yet another story about >>How good can it get?<<. We have a few run-down blocks in our neighborhood. The windows in particular are old, cheap glass and the wooden frames are chipping. A very drafty affair and even then people heat out the window. The tenants often don't have the money to insulate from the inside or at least to paint over them themselves before the frame starts to mold through. One evening I was walking through one of these complexes and as I left I thought: >>Wouldn't it be great if the rental company offered tenants a repair at a discounted rate so that they could choose whether or not to participate in a renewal. How good could it be for them? I still haven't gotten used to the miracle, but the next day I walked along this block and the first frame shone in the sun. Freshly painted. Now that's hardly doable overnight, and I realize I must have switched universes. I looked at the other windows, and over two-thirds of the window frames had been repaired or painted. The entire back of the block suddenly had plastic frames throughout with very good window glass. I love your How good can it get!

Note from Cynthia: Oh, WOW!  This is such amazing good news you have!  Thank you so much for sharing with me the heart-warmingly good news that your beautiful love and positive energy and good intentions for the trees and plants of Berlin preceded so much rain and snow, with such a wet winter!  I love it!  We've been similarly blessed with snow and rain in California, after some years of extreme drought, and hopefully there may be some ways to help restore the groundwater, which had been depleted.  I'm so grateful that you feel so connected with your local trees and plants, and that you can see the positive beneficial impacts in Berlin, and in your neighborhood!
