Cynthia in High School
Cynthia in High School
Hello wise humans!

This picture is my senior portrait from when I was in high school. I was a little bit younger than my classmates, because I had skipped a couple of grades, so I graduated when I was sixteen. One of my favorite memories from high school is of one memorable day when I was about fifteen years old, attending a special optional after-school class focused on Transactional Analysis, with seniors who were older than me by two or three years. This was a psychological conceptual precurser to the Karpman Drama Triangle, and illuminated types of conversational styles. One day I arrived at class like I usually did, but everybody was there, and the class was already passionately engaged in conversation. I glanced down at an instruction sheet on my desk that our instructor had placed on each of our desks, and it described that this afternoon's instruction for the day was to, "Consider how you usually speak and behave, and do things completely the opposite from usual."

I thought about these directions, and began to assess myself. "Wow, I'm usually really quiet. I hardly talk at all. I'm very agreeable. I don't really interrupt. I don't disagree. So I'm going to be interrupting and disagreeing and talking constantly." I looked around the classroom from the teacher to the other students, and thought they must have already started, since they were speaking with such gusto. So I dove into the conversation with my loudest voice, making sure to point out factual errors, and interrupting people. This continued on for what felt like forever. But I think it was probably actually only five or ten minutes. And then the teacher sort of laughed, and kicked his chair back a little bit, and said, "Okay, I think it's time that we get started now."

I was thinking, "What, we haven't yet gotten started? What was everyone else doing?" And that moment of confusion was one of the most transformative moments in my life. Because what happened in that moment was that I started realizing many things. I realized it was exhausting to behave so very differently than I usually did. And I realized that who I usually behaved as was a very constricted, constrained aspect of me—it wasn't really all of me. I reallized that obviously, there's a part of me that can interrupt, and that can be pointing out errors in what other people are saying. This was a shocking realization. And perhaps the biggest revelation of all was that I'd been doing all these uncharacteristic things that I thought surely someone's going to say something—yet nobody did. I'd been acting, thinking, and speaking completely out of character for some time before we'd even begun the exercise, and yet nobody had noticed! As rude as I'd been, I'd apparently not offended or annoyed anyone too much. Everyone was blissfully ignorant that I'd started the exercise without them. I began to see that there are lots of ways to interact, and people tend to get more caught up in what they are thinking, saying and doing that whatever is going on around them.

Transactional Analysis ego states
Transactional Analysis ego states
In our Transactional Analysis afterschool class, we talked about the different patterns of conversation that can take place, such as when an adult talks heart-to-heart with someone, which generally feels very healthy and respectful. And then there are other patterns, which can be more like talking down to someone, as if they're lower on the totem pole, like a child being corrected by a parent. These communication patterns could be very controlling and a bit destructive, or they could be very positive and constructive. In addition to learning about Transactional Analysis psychological patterns of the three Ego states of: Parent, Adult, and Child, I realized that what was going on in my mind with respect to my thoughts was an interpretation of that moment, and something I could change.

The biggest thing I learned in that class was this accidental experiment I participated in, where I discovered I could be doing something that I thought was outrageous, yet nobody else even noticed. I had a lot more leeway to be a lot more of myself than I ever realized. And I'm still learning from that moment, actually. I learned that there were many possible ways for me to interact with others, including some that I'd habitually been avoiding, yet that I could access and adopt without causing harm to others. I felt a tremendous sense of freedom from this discovery, with sudden awareness that each of us has quite a lot of room to adjust and change our regular relational dynamics. We are much more adaptable than most of us realize, with a tremendous capacity to improve all aspects of our lives, simply by improving what is regularly running through our minds. This seldom contemplated, yet constantly running internal dialogue has tremendous power to provide us with a narrative of meaning and purpose—and we don't ever have to settle for an inferior story that we're telling ourselves. So what can we learn when we know that you can do things that are expansive—that are different from anything you've ever done? This begins with a change in your inner dialogue. What is "inner dialogue," you may well ask.

Becca Levy
Becca Levy

How Can Our Story Change Our Lives?

Here's a photo of the amazing Dr. Becca Levy. I cite her research in my book, Quantum Jumps, because she's shown through her research that we can gain about 7.5 years of lifespan if we just do one thing. What is that one thing, you might wonder? This is where it gets really amazing—it has to do with our inner dialogue, and what's running constantly in the background of our mind, whether we know it or not. Most of us are a little oblivious regarding inner dialogue, and some people think they don't have any inner dialogue at all. Here is an excerpt from my book, sharing insights about the power of biases and assumptions related to the topic of aging:

Recent research shows that our subconsciously adopted "age stereotypes" regarding our expectations of what will happen as we age makes a tremendous difference in how we actually do age. An increasing body of scientific research studies shows that when seniors expect that growing older means they will become incapacitated, confused, useless, weak or devalued they are less likely to take preventive steps against such deterioration and they actually will suffer from mental and physical deterioration. Intriguingly, when seniors believe positive stereotypes about aging, such as that older adults are wise, involved with life and satisfied, such individuals actually experience higher levels of physical and mental wellbeing. A medical research team at Yale University led by Becca Levy reported recently in The Journal of the American Medical Association that seniors with positive biases toward aging are 44% more likely to fully recover from a bout of disability—better able to bathe, dress and walk than those with negative aging stereotypes. The research team propose that positive age stereotypes are so effective because they operate through several pathways: limiting cardiovascular responses to stress, improving physical balance, enhancing self-efficacy, and increasing peoples' engagement in healthy behaviors. Dr. Becca Levy is a pioneer in the field of age stereotypes and aging, and has helped us better appreciate the importance of maintaining a positive mindset around our elders, because their exposure—even subliminally—to negative age stereotypes and expectations can prove debilitating. Levy conducted many laboratory experiments with older people to observe peoples' reactions to subliminal messages prior to attempting to complete various tasks. Levy noted that seniors who'd subliminally received negative words, such as "decrepit" had worse handwriting and slower walking speeds afterward, whereas those with positive words such as "wisdom" did much better. Dr. Levy studied a database of 600 people who'd been tracked over a period of 23 years, from 1975 to 1998, to see how people's age stereotypes influence their lives. Levy noted that participants with positive age stereotypes lived an average of 7.5 years longer than those with negative stereotypes. This longevity gap persisted even after variables of age, gender, socioeconomic status, loneliness and functional health were considered as covariates. Participants were asked at the beginning of the research to answer either 'True' or 'False' to questions such as, 'Things keep getting worse as I get older,' or 'as you get older, you get less useful.' Dr. Levy asks us to be more mindful of the 'little things' that add up to quite a lot when we interact with seniors. Everything from our tone of voice, attitude, and use of loaded phrases or expressions make a huge difference. Rather than parroting back whatever negative stereotypes we might have accumulated, each of us has an opportunity to 'think about how to reinforce the more positive aspects of aging,' as Dr. Levy suggests.

Curious People Enjoy Smarter, Longer Lives

Recent studies indicate that people who are curious and questioning live longer, and enjoy sharper minds, while increasing a sense of meaning and purpose. Curiosity can also be considered to be a bit dangerous, and is often discouraged by authority figures who would prefer people not question everything. Curiosity has been blamed for killing the cat, and bringing people out of comfortable complacency into awareness of what's really going on that sometimes involves more information than they'd bargained on. One quote that indicates this originated with American poet and lawyer John Godfrey Saxe, who said, "Laws, like sausages, cease to inspire respect in proportion as we know how they are made." Curiosity tends to to be associated with youth, where we see children asking questions about nearly everything--and it turns out that we can retain youthful vigor in mind and body by continuing to keep asking questions through every era of our lives. We can challenge ourselves to ask more questions, and enjoy longer, more meaningful lives that transcend monotonous routine.

Not Everyone Has Internal Dialogue, or a Mind's Eye

How we feel has a lot to do with the thoughts we are running through our heads. While 50% to 70% percent of the population have internal dialogues—that stream of conscious thoughts narrated in your mind using language—the other 30% to 50% of us do not. Not everyone thinks the same way, though we often assume others are similar to us.

For those of us who have it, our internal dialogue has the power to inspire and uplift, or plummet us into a variety of negative types of downward spirals. An inner dialogue can keep may of us on track, if we're trying to remember something from one end of the house to the other—or if we're thinking about what to say when we're about to respond to someone we're talking to. We have a great deal more power with regard to the stories we tell ourselves about facts and information than most of us realize. This is where the glass being half full or half empty starts to matter, as we choose whether to adopt a more optimistic or pessimistic point of view.

There can be great advantage in observing the thoughts going through your mind, with awareness that those thoughts are not you—they are thoughts you are observing. Thanks to this awareness, you gain access to a higher level of conscious agency—a higher level of yourself. You can thus practice viewing and clearing internal dialogue, and replacing patterns of thoughts and stories that result in destructive interference with what you truly best envision, love, and need for yourself and the world.

Aphantasia Test
Aphantasia Test
Similarly to the situation with internal monologues, as it turns out, some people don't have a mind's eye. People who cannot visualize mental images are recognized as having Aphantasia. Dr. Adam Zeman, professor of cognitive and behavioral neurology at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, has studied aphantasia for decades. Zeman says, "It's a kind of absence of wakeful imagery, both deliberate and involuntary. When most people think of an apple, for example, they will be able to call to mind the appearance of an apple. They'll have an experience that is somewhat visual. But people who have aphantasia can't do that; they are unable to summon imagery to mind in that kind of deliberate fashion."

Barbault Basket

Look for—and Find—Positive Signs

At this time when we're getting the opportunity for a civilizational reset, the key to success depends on each person making an internal choice to select highest principles, and embody their personal best values, ethics and standards. This truth will become increasingly self-evident as technologies lean into awareness of such previously "woo-woo" topics as telepathy, mind-matter interaction, and the influence of our thoughts and feelings on the physical world.

French astrologer Andre Barbault said about the "Barbault basket" planetary alignment of four outer planets—Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto—taking place between July 18-22. There is a special geometry to this configuration giving the appearance of a basket, since it features a minor grand trine of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, with the addition of Jupiter in Leo and follows an earlier conjunction of Saturn and Neptune in Aries, signifying fresh new beginnings. An English translation of what Barbault said about this celestial event is: "It is the most benefic configuration of the century and its interplanetary partnership will work for the best in a splendid relaunch of civilization. It contains a harmonious relationship between primordial opposites; the coming together of the external and the internal, rational and spiritual, mind and soul—human beings surpassing themselves while experiencing life on a higher level."

Astrology is just one kind of positive sign that we can look for and find. Whatever we may think of astrology, the invitation to contemplate creation of a new architecture of a new era can lift us out of becoming overly focused on what seems to be crumbling or falling apart at this time, so we can focus on staying curious and asking lots of questions that we'd love to live the answers to—questions such as, "How good can it get?"

Let's find out!

I just had a lovely conversation with Dean Rickles on his podcast, discussing my own journey from a spiritually awake childhood to physics, to dealing with illness. This conversation primarily focuses on reality shifts and what the Mandela Effect is (with some examples), how we might explain it (e.g. through quantum theory and the notion of 'Wigner bubbles'), and what it might tell us about reality and the nature of time. We also discuss a Hopi prophecy about the 5th world, and more. I think you’ll really enjoy this conversation, delving into our shared interest and experience with physics and the Mandela effect!

PMH Atwater kept a secret for almost fifty years. She finally told it in the very last book she published, and it connects the three deaths that launched her life's work to something she never spoke about publicly: contact with a being she called Arrakkus. PMH passed away on July 10th, just weeks after this book came out. Today, joining me to unpack what she actually revealed is Cynthia Sue Larson—consciousness researcher, longtime colleague of PMH's, and endorser of her final book, Aliens and the Near-Death Experience. This is much more than a tribute. It's PMH's own words, in her own final testimony, and what it means for how we understand trauma, consciousness, and contact.

Soccer is now 'Football' in Canada
Rose
Kitchener, Ontario, Canada

There is another Mandela Effect. In my world, only the Spanish speaking countries called it 'football'. In Canada it was called 'soccer'. But now in the news they are calling it 'football'. In El Salvador they call it football. My uncle also called it football here in Canada when he spoke to me in Spanish. I remember growing up here and asking why they call it soccer here in Canada since you hit the ball with your foot. Yet, football here is the oval burgundi looking ball. On July 19th of this year Argentina and Spain played against each other. I noticed the change because like you've said, I am an outsider looking in. I don't watch these games ever. I didn't want to be left out of the loop, so I watched afterwards some news sports short videos on YouTube as to what happened and who won. I was surprised they weren't using the word soccer. They were calling it football. I was in fact doing something out of the ordinary at the time. I was painting my room, and I've always said I hate this (painting) which is why I left a half painted wall 16 years ago unfinished. I was finally getting my room and that wall done.

Note from Cynthia: Thank you for sharing your Mandela Effect with Canadians now calling what they used to call "soccer" "football."  I don't have a clear recollection about this topic at all, since I've not been listening to Canadians discussing this sport. That's so interesting that you were painting at the time you paid attention to the change in calling the game of soccer "football," and viewing this change as an outsider—someone who's not a huge fan of the game.

VIBE in Deb's shoe
VIBE in Deb's shoe
Missing VIBE returns—in my shoe!
Deb
Rhode Island, USA

I wanted to share the great news that my portable PEMF device, the Resona VIBE dropped back into my physical reality this past weekend. I had been using it for a few months/ loved how it was helping me/ it was lovingly gifted to me from a dear friend. All of a sudden, mid-winter this year, poof! It was no longer in my physical reality. I knew I didn’t lose it; I searched everywhere, including unlikely places, and strongly pictured it dropping back to me at a ‘future’ point. The morning of a funeral mass (for a wonderful person named Michael), I had the thought to go to my closet and decide what summer shoes I would wear to the funeral. There it was, on the top shelf of a shoe rack, underneath clothes that almost reached this shelf of the shoe rack, tucked way inside the top portion of a pair of shoes. It could not have fallen into these shoes randomly in this way. When this item (smaller than a smart phone) was ‘lost’ back in February, we were in between two four foot snow blizzards. I wasn’t wearing those shoes in that timeframe. It surely felt like a miracle that it was returned to me in this fashion, on a day when I was remembering Michael’s wonderful contributions to all who were blessed to know him. I know that he had had something to do with the return of this item to me, and I could feel the sheer joy he was now dwelling in and sharing with me through this experience. I share this experience so you can know that it came back; thank you for picturing it’s return to me and to encourage others to keep picturing what they are wanting in a “ how good can it get ?” way. Be open to how the solutions will reach you/find you. Including things that have been plucked from your physical reality being returned to you in magical ways in right timing. Giving much thanks!

Note from Cynthia: Oh my goodness, what excellent news this is! Thank you so much for sharing this delightful photographic evidence of the surprising place your portable PEMF device returned! I'm so happy to see this, and glad to see your shared tips for people to keep picturing what they want in that "how good can it get" way, while staying open to the often surprising way things may work out! Thanks so much for this wonderfully inspiring success story!

Parallel universe glimpses of the 1800s
Tish
https://tishannmac.bandcamp.com/?ui_context=usernav

I thought that I was done with parallel universes, but apparently, I’m not. For the past couple of days, I have felt my soul transitioning to a parallel universe/timeline that’s set in the 1800’s again. I wrote about my first experiences with such a timeline a few years ago in Reality Shifters, and I hadn’t begun to cross over onto that timeline since until a couple of days ago. On July 31, I was in the woods behind my home where I’ve had many otherworldly and inter dimensional experiences, and I looked over to where a young tree was. There are some trees in our woods that grow in a curved fashion and even in a circular pattern, and for a few brief seconds, I saw a wagon wheel from the 1800’s superimposed over the circular tree. On August 1, I was driving my car, and I started to feel myself transition to being on a wagon driving a team of horses, as has been the case in the past. What’s interesting about this particular experience is that I actually started to see into the 1800’s universe. I was approaching an old house that was built in the 1800’s, which is now a museum. The old barn was remodeled, and people now book it for weddings, etc.  As I was approaching the old house/museum, I noticed that a red car was in the driveway approaching the street. For a few brief seconds, I saw a dark beige colored horse with a cream colored tail superimposed over the car, and the horse was actually moving around.  It’s so interesting to me that there are still timelines set in the 1800’s during our present day!

Note from Cynthia: How marvelous that you're catching glimpses into the 1800s when you are next to some old structures still standing from those times! Some of us who receive high sense perceptions definitely do pick up amazing sensory input from old places, or places that have been utilized in a certain way for long periods of time. I love how you describe sensing the presence of the past in various ways, such as seeing horses and wagon wheels—very cool!

Elizabeth's different building
Elizabeth's different building
The apartment building behind me changed
Elizabeth
Dunfermline, Scotland

The apartment building behind me is a different style.  I had taken pictures of my back yard when I moved it, this was a few years ago.  Then last year, I went outside and just about fell over. The building was slightly different. I ran back inside, looked through all my old photos, found them and it was the same building I saw outside.  So, when this happens, does all evidence disappear? I told a friend of mine, but I couldn't prove anything because the photos did not reflect the previous version of the building. That's a bit frustrating. So I stopped telling people about these incidents.  The apartment building has a few white lines running down the back of it, one on either side of it. I noticed this change a few years ago. I was standing in my kitchen, pouring a cup of coffee when I glanced outside and saw it. I live in Scotland and we have a lot of seagulls, so my first thought was that one of them had left a spectacular mess down the wall. I even remember thinking, ”That seagull must be sick, that's an awful lot of poo running down the building.” When I walked outside, though, my jaw literally dropped. I just stood there gaping at the building. It wasn't bird droppings. It was a long, white line running down the back of the building that was not previously there. I grabbed my phone, took a photo, then came back inside to look through old pictures I'd taken of the back yard when I first moved in. Sure enough, the white line was already there. I was really disappointed when I saw this. I thought at least the earlier evidence of what the building looked like would be the same, but it wasn't.

Note from Cynthia: That's just amazing that you are now noticing something that would have been unmistakeable and truly attention catching if it had been there orginially, with your observation of the new white vertical stripe running up and down that is so suggestive of bird droppings! Clearly if that had been there to begin with, you would have noticed it, as you are noticing it now. Wow!

The hairdresser's horrific accident never occurred
Bev
Georgetown, Texas, USA

I just had to see if you have experienced a sort of Mandela Effect with a family member like what just happened with me today—I remember that 18-20 years ago my daughter calling me, crying, to tell me her hairdresser, who was 30 years old, a single mom, and had a 2 year old—had died. She hadn’t shown up for work one morning, or called, which was so unusual that the salon owner went to her house and found her dead in the shower and the baby still in her bed, crying. She apparently slipped and hit her head and died from it. It was very sad. Over the years I have recounted this to several people because it is a cautionary story to help people remember to be careful in tubs or showers. And not a month has gone by that I don’t think about my daughter’s hairdresser when I am getting in or out of a tub or shower. It made a huge impact on me. So. Today I mentioned it to my daughter during a text, and she responded with, “What??” She swears she has no memory of any such thing, and that if it had happened she would have remembered something so tragic, and she remembers all her hairdressers over the years! She is just as dumbfounded as I am about this now. All afternoon I have concentrated very hard to think about if it could have been someone else having told me it was their hairdresser, or if my brain has mixed up a tv episode, or what, but no! My so frequently remembering about my daughter’s hairdresser when I am in the shower has been a running theme in my life for many years now! And I know my daughter would never forget such a tragic event either though. It makes me wonder if my reality shifted, or there was a glitch in the matrix, or something to explain this. It is so weird.

Note from Cynthia: Wow, this is amazing. Yes, these personal Mandela Effects do happen—the kind that are so intensely memorable that they become part of one's personal life, often thought of as cautionary tales or local legends. I haven't (yet) had anything happen to me with a family member like what you just experienced. But yes, this pattern of remembering some pivotal moment in a family member's life so very differently is definitely something that happens. I was just this past month looking up to see if I could find the old news story about one of my city's elected officials, who famously shoplifted cosmetics at a beloved local drug store that used to be called "Bill's Drugs" back in the 1980s. I lived in Berkeley at the time that this crime was announced, at the time it happeneed--and it was all over the news as it was very shocking. I'd referred to the incident many times to people who weren't here when it happened, constantly amazed that someone serving in a position of political power would do such a thing. Except now, apparently, none of this ever happened. When I consider these two personal Mandela Effects, yours and mine, I am impressed that in both cases there was a kind of "cautionary tale" element to them that now apparently no longer has its initial shockingly memorable point of origin.  I find this especially fascinating, and see in this pattern a feeling that the past can improve--even when we remember some horrific events from the past that we find personally unforgettable. I just presented a paper for the New Foundations of Mind conference on a very related topic. Quantum Gifts of Delayed Choice in Irish Gaelic: Language has a subtle yet profound influence on our beliefs and worldview. Irish Gaelic (Gaeilge) is the native Celtic language of Ireland, predating English by thousands of years. Remarkably, this ancient language includes insights from cutting-edge discoveries in quantum physics. Dr. Seán O'Nualláin points out that Gaeilge includes a special “imprecatory” mode that corresponds beautifully to the idea of delayed choice, changing what occurred in the past. It is thus possible in Gaeilge language and thought to hope not just for future events to go well, but also for events to go smoothly that have occurred in the past. A philosophical benefit of speaking and thinking in Gaeilge is thus awareness that we can hold good thoughts in mind for all uncertain events, in the present, future, and past.

Crystal Castle never was closing, changes in books
Angela Jenkins
https://angelaleejenkins.lpages.co/willtolivbook/

I wanted to share these couple of things with you in case it helps with your research. (I recently commented on YouTube about the video where you were speaking German at a specific point, and now it is not. :) I thought I had heard this place Crystal Castle was closing down, so when I saw the ad about it and the monks being in residence I thought to myself, ”I must go before it closes.” It's a beautiful place, and I was upset I hadn't been in years. When I went there this week, I said that to the lady when i was entering and buying ticket. She said, ”No, we are not closing—we are thriving, and open.” And they have a special, where I got a one year pass for the price of one entry. So I went twice this week. And now typing, I've realised I will ask them if anyone else had heard they were closing. Also in listening to your podcast, I heard you talk about changes with your books etc. I released my first book last year, and after getting the proof, I decided to reformat it with luxury margins before publishing. When the reformatting came back, the pdf jumped from page 103 to 105, so when it printed, page 104 was blank. It didn't do that in any drafts. My son lived for 104 days (and the title of book is, “Will to Liv: 104 days of my son's life” ), so I decided to leave the page blank in his honour. Listening to your talks gave me greater belief that it wasn't just a printing error. I'm not sure if I am becoming a lot more aware about these things.

Note from Cynthia: Thank you so much for sharing such wonderful news that Crystal Castle is NOT closing down, despite your having heard that it was—and how lovely to be able to purchase a one year pass for the price of a single admission! Yes, I agree with you that there appears to be a tremendously meaningful coincidence with that blank page 104 in the reformatted edition of your book, “Will to Liv: 104 days of my son's life.” And I love the feeling of harmonious peace and love I get when contemplating a blank page—a tabula rasa.

Dear Cynthia,
I'm watching you on the Serious Jester, please share your input about the baseball players both named Brady Feigl and they have similar things happening to them in life. Is it the same soul living in two bodies to experience more of life?
— Rose

Dear Rose,
Thanks so much for writing to me and letting me know you are enjoying my talk with Dean Rickles, aka the Serious Jester, on our conversation posted to YouTube. Regarding your question about the two baseball players both named Brady Feigl, who have similar things happening in their lives—I have not been following their specific experiences and stories. It is truly remarkable that both Brady Feigl baseball players are the same height (6'4") and have same first and last names, share the same doctor, had the same medical procedure on their arms at the same time, and are both employed in baseball! Their DNA tests showed they are not secret close relatives--yet this kind of thing might be hinting to us that reality is being created by us the way we create dreams—hinting that even we ourselves are created by consciousness. Without knowing the particulars, it's hard for me to say with much certainity what may be going on, and I'd tend to listen most carefully to their own perspectives on what's going on. In much the same way I ask people who share their personal reality shifts and Mandela Effects with me to please consider/remember what they were thinking and feeling around the times they noticed the shifts--I'd ask these baseball players that question, too—what they were thinking and feeling before finding out about one another.
lots of love and thanks,
— Cynthia

Hello, Cynthia!
I hope I am not burdening you with yet another bizarre event that has left me and my generally sceptic "non-believing" husband in wonder. As my husband was driving home from work today, he was drawn to turn and look at the driver behind him. This driver happened to be his doppelganger! My husband was dumbfounded. He followed the man and stopped next to him at a stoplight. He had the same features, the same expressions, the same motions, even the same sunglasses on! My husband arrived home very confused and upset. He even considered that he may have crossed into a parallel timeline. I must add that today I had been meditating intensely as tomorrow is the luckiest day of the year. We are expecting some good news and I am in the process of manifesting our desired reality. However, I read that seeing your double is actually a bad omen. I don't believe that. I think that this is a sign that nothing is what it seems. And that we create our own realities. If you have the time, I'd love to hear your opinion on this as you have the expertise to explain on a higher level.
Love and light, always,
— Maria

Dear Maria,
Thanks so much for writing to me regarding thoughts on seeing one's doppelganger, as your husband recently experienced. Over the years, I've received some extraordinary reports of people sometimes seeing their exact double, such as some people have reported to me when driving, and seeing themselves driving toward and past them in identical rather unique and one-of-a-kind vehicles, with identical items strapped to the roof, and identical clothing. The people that shared these experiences with me did not experience misfortune following these sightings. Such identical doppelganger incidences are unusual, but they do happen often enough to indicate that reality is truly a lot more amazing and mysterious than most people realize. I suggest asking, "How good can it get?" if and when witnessing your doppelganger.
lots of love,
— Cynthia

___________

Hi, Cynthia!
I was SO happy to come across your work this year as I'm so fascinated in timelines,  parallel lives etc. Thank you for all that you do. I saw some Q&A in the back of your books and am hoping it's ok to email you a question please. If we can tune into and jump to a timeline with a particular version of ourselves, can we do this with other people? I.e. use our frequency and intent to align with a version of those we love, whom we would most love to see and interact with? I'm coming at this from the question of if I create my own reality, how does this work when the other people in my life have their own free will, as their behaviour and experiences naturally affect me and my life to some degree, which can then leave me feeling at the mercy of circumstance and therefore disempowered—which above everything doesn't seem to match the idea that we create our own reality. I see with my kids however that their experiences/ behaviour often seems so tailor made to me, that it appears like I have indeed tuned into a version of them based on my resonance, expectations etc? Does this happen? I don't mean just perceptions, I mean literal different versions. Also all these different versions—are they being experienced by other 'aspects' of the soul (just like I'm experiencing the 'me' writing this now) that we're just not aware of? Thank you hugely for any input,
— Lucy

Dear Lucy,
While we tend to experience a kind of resonance with the world meeting our own vibratory frequencies, so when we're feeling wonderful, we might, for example randomly meet another shopper at the grocery store who is so ecstatic with good news that her dear friend is home after a long hospital stay that she keeps exclaiming, "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" and you end up hugging her, because her joy is so infectious and extraordinary. This happened to me the other day, and when I walked out of the store to my car in the parking lot, there were a group of five young women jumping up and down with joy, so excited and thrilled to see each other there, exclaiming, "Happy birthday!" Where things get intriguing is the question you raise about the free will of other people in our lives. To the degree we can visualize a coherent shared positive future together, we can meet others at the level of vibratory frequency we can raise, maintain and share. So yes, it can happen that you meet up with your kids or friends or other family members with realities that feel tailor made for you—yes, you can share literally (matching) different versions of yourselves that correspond to those shared realities. It's entirely possible that our souls do effectively "live other lives" to the degree we are dreaming of living other lives—yet, I see that there is tremendous positive advantage to those whose minds, hearts, and guts are aligned fully in mind, body and spirit such that they are not torn apart, longing to be in more than one given reality. There's a real blessing in loving and being grateful for the reality we find ourselves in.
lots of love,
— Cynthia

___________

Dear Cynthia,
We spoke several times, years ago, pre-Covid, when I was still in southern California. You are being proven right about a lot of things. I've seen many suggesting we've had a timeline/quantum shift in recent weeks. I've noted signifiers suggesting this is the case. Have you heard similar and spoken/written about this at all anywhere? Thank you for your prescient work. I endorse your book to people whenever it is relevant. God bless you.
— Tom

Dear Tom,
Nice to hear from you! Idealist (non-materialist) physicists recognize consciousness as foundational for reality; we create reality by what we pay attention to; and we observe a (highly subjective) nature of reality. The Essentia Foundation is a great place to track this.
— Cynthia

___________

Dear Cynthia,
I feel like I just merged back into this timeline. Years ago, everything switched for me. I clearly remember being in the timeline where The Thinker statue had his fist on his forehead, and the Apollo 13 movie line was, “we had a problem.” That became normal to me. But originally, I remember The Thinker having his fist under his chin, and I remember the Apollo 13 line as “Houston, we have a problem.” Now, within the last week, everything seems to have switched back. What is making this even stranger is that when I search for Mandela Effect videos about these flip-flops, most of what I'm finding is from 2016. But just last week, I was watching videos where people were showing that Apollo 13 said, “we had a problem.” I also remember the Mandela Effect being a much bigger topic in the other version of things. There were way more YouTube videos about it, with way more views, and people seemed to discuss it more seriously.
— J.G.

Dear J.G.,
This is super interesting—since as you might know, CERN shut down their Large Hadron Collider on June 29, 2026, just a couple of weeks ago. This could be purely coincidental, of course, but I wonder what else changed around the time you noticed so may things reverting/switching back? The most riveting piece of all this for me is that you remember that the Mandela Effect itself was a bigger topic in the other version of things. This is all so totally fascinating. Thanks so much for sharing this!
