What if life could be lived like a waking dream? What if each momentary
inspiration could be heard, as ideas beyond words being softly whispered to
our hearts and souls? How might we live more meaningful lives by learning
to listen more deeply, as if tuning in to the sound inside of creation
itself? These ideas have been blossoming within me ever since I received an
advance copy of Glenn Aparicio Parry's wonderful forthcoming book, Original
Love, anticipated to be published in January 2026.
I've been thinking this past month about Arrival,
an Amy Adams movie that came out almost a decade ago—thinking to
myself that I'd like to see it again. I didn't give much further thought to
the matter, so I was surprised and delighted to see it was on television at
a moment when I had time to watch. This was meaningful to me, since it
provided me with an example of how so often whenever I have a thought, it
appears in my life—like I’m living a waking dream.
The Special Role of Language
In the movie, Arrival,
actor Amy Adams plays the role of a linguistics professor, Louise Banks,
who leads a team of investigators with a goal of communicating with beings
who land on Earth in spaceships at 12 different locations on our
planet. Military operations are in charge at most all of these
landing sites, and when some messages are received with an idea of imminent
threat, some nations prepare to take military "defensive" action against
the perceived threat of the heptapod (seven-limbed) alien beings.
Amidst this pressure-cooker tension, linguists take the lead in
establishing communication via language, signs, and symbols.
Professor Louise Banks says at one point in the movie, "Language is the
foundation of civilization. It is the glue that holds people together. It
is the first weapon drawn in a conflict."
Yet in the movie Arrival, establishing a common ground of language
involves more than simply learning sounds and symbols—it also
involves awareness of the foundational mindset beneath the language. We
thus begin to see that languages might relate to ideas the way maps relate
terrains and territories. Language has much in common with maps that we
utilize to depict landscapes—it can provide us with an awareness
of some aspects of "the lay of the land," but it is limited by what type of
map it is, and what it focuses attention on. Topographic contour maps, for
example, are useful when backpacking through mountainous areas, when it
helps to plan to have sufficient water and supplies before climbing to
higher elevations. Road maps are helpful when driving cross-country, and
selecting scenic destinations and spontaneous detours. Geological maps
illustrate types of soil in each area. Aeronautical chart flight maps show
the intended and actual flight paths, with waypoints providing navigational
reference during the flight.
Regardless which kind of mapping or labeling we utilize, one thing is for
certain—these descriptions cannot fully describe the true
essence of who we are, or what reality truly is. To put it another way, we
do well to not confuse the map for the territory.
We can easily take for granted our native language and its tendency to
focus awareness in certain areas, just as we might take for granted
whatever map system we typically utilize—but we can learn a
great deal about ourselves and the world by being open to discover new ways
to communicate, and new ways to listen more deeply. One of the biggest
changes in the past decade since Arrival was released is the utilization of
Artificial Intelligence to solve challenging puzzles, and interpret
indecipherable codes. While it may be tempting to contemplate how easy it
might be to hand over language interpretation tasks to Artificial
Intelligence, some aspects of communications can probably most fully be
received by us directly. Concerns are already being expressed that some of
us who are utilizing AI may be relinquishing and atrophying essential brain
functions. A recent
MIT study highlights some stunning differences between those
extensively utilizing AI and those who don’t, sounding a warning
for those wondering what might be at stake. And it’s telling
that I didn’t miss Artificial Intelligence in the movie,
Arrival. It’s hard for me to envision how Professor
Louise Banks could have succeeded so brilliantly with deep listening and
true relationships with anything or anyone else—including
Artificial Intelligence—between her and those she communicates
with.
Nonlinear Spacetime
Both the movie, Arrival, and Glenn Aparicio Parry's forthcoming
book, Original Love, prominently feature the significance of
nonlinear time. In Arrival, the heptapod alien beings communicate
via circular logograms. As Professor Louise Banks makes time to tune in
more deeply to this alien language, she gets much more than she bargained
for. Thanks to listening and tuning in more deeply, this linguist observes
that some of her seemingly personal thoughts, memories, and dreams have a
direct correspondence with her communications with the heptapod beings.
There is a growing sense of interconnectedness through space and time, and
between Louise’s life and what the heptapods are communicating,
woven through personal events and conveyed through and beyond words. By
making this leap of understanding, Professor Louise Banks navigates some
degree of understandable confusion, as emotionally charged memories are
highlighted, and a sense of expanding out of linear and into nonlinear time
naturally unfolds.
Glenn Aparicio Parry points out that,
"… linear perspective, became known as
realism—and this is what changed the world. People began to
believe that linear perspective was the only valid worldview. The previous
(magical) way of seeing—through immersing oneself in an animate,
living environment—became thought of as primitive."
"Whether we realize it or not, our souls are calling out for a
reinstatement of some of the abilities we once took for granted, and then
discarded."
What might nonlinear space-time living look like?
What abilities did we once take for granted, and then discard?
Thanks to my participation in Language of Spirit conference events
organized in part by Glenn Aparicio Perry, it has been my experience that
deep listening provides us with a powerful, under-appreciated tool. This
kind of deep listening requires relaxation of the analytical, rational mind
to the point that intuitive non-verbal insights arrive more completely
intact. This kind of deep listening is also what is portrayed as the
pivotal success factor in the movie, Arrival. I'm not going to give
the plot entirely away, because it's worth watching the movie. But Dr.
Louise Banks is able to communicate effectively, because she's listening
deeply and noticing that some of the non-standard, nonlinear ways of
communication that are typical for the heptapods is something that humanity
perhaps is ready to start learning. Maybe this is the direction we're
going into nonlinear thinking. And I know that it actually probably is.
So how does this deep listening actually operate on a practical level?
I have previously written about listening to a
variety of non-human beings, including a coyote, a squirrel, and many
others. There is much we learn and gain, by listening with soft eyes and
open hearts, and observing what is happening when it might seem that
nothing is happening at all.
Some Recent Nonlinear Telepathic Conversations
I experienced some extraordinary nonlinear telepathic communications from
unseen (but felt) beings in February 2025, just seven months ago. I
received some interesting messages in the form of being shown some of my
own memories including some things that I knew, as well as some things that
I didn't know. And these were brought to my attention dramatically, and
with some powerful associated emotions.
In the category of "Things Cynthia Didn't Know," they played part of a song
for me. It's the old Herb Alpert song, This
Guy's in Love with You, with the lyrics, "You see this guy? This
guy's in love with you." I first heard that segment of the song in my
mind’s ear, with Herb Alpert singing. And this surprised me,
since I was familiar with Burt Bacharach singing that song, and I
didn’t know there was a version with Herb Alpert singing it. And
then they paused, and repeated this segment of the song in my
mind’s ear again, but this time it's different. This time, I'm
hearing a version of the song I'd never heard before February 2025 that
went:
"You see this sky?
This sky's in love with you."
While I was still processing that, and pretty much emotionally bowled over
by feeling waves of unconditional love, several things were coming to mind.
I was surprised to be hearing Herb Alpert's voice singing the song, when I
didn't know that Herb Alpert sang that song—and this new version
of the song with brand new lyrics also surprised me.
But to top this all off and make the entire experience unforgettable, I
then saw in my mind’s eye a memory from a time some 25 years
ago, when I'd visited Albuquerque, New Mexico, attending a Science of
Consciousness conference. I was there with M.J., looking at petroglyphs
that showed one alien handprint carved in the rock side-by-side with a
human handprint. While the right hand carving fits our human hands
perfectly, with clearly delineated thumb and four fingers, all somewhat
cylindrically shaped—the left hand carving features
alien-looking triangular/pyramidal fingers and thumbs, rather than round.
This memory from the year 2000 just popped into my mind without my doing
anything to prompt its arrival—indicating a connection between
seeing the obvious kindred spirit in alien-by-human handprints, and hearing
a new-to-me version of a song, with lyrics, “This
sky’s in love with you.”
Taken together, this is a love letter to humanity, writ large, in song
and in stone.
Nonlinear thinking is possible for all of us. We know telepathy is real;
we're seeing clear evidence of it in the Telepathy Tapes. Thanks to the
work of people like Dr. Dean Radin, who is scientifically studying and
writing about consciousness and magic, we can recognize a growing
scientific body of evidence to suggest that mind-matter interactions are
quite real.
So how can we communicate in nonlinear fashion? We can practice
communicating telepathically, as I experienced this year, and as
demonstrated in the movie, Arrival, with Amy Adams, the actress playing the
role of a linguist.
We can imagine how might this roll out in the contemplation of Original
Love, which is a revolution in the truest sense of the word,
“revolution.” A revolution around the sun, for
example, is a cycle—it looks like a full circle. We think of a
revolution as bringing new ideas. But when we bring in an Original idea,
from the fullness of Original Love, it might seem like we’re
going in a circle. And as we come back to make a full circle revolution, we
can ask my favorite question, “How good can it
get?”
Our Revolutionary Return to Original Love
How can we as humans start expanding this interaction of connectivity that
we feel with ourselves, with other humans, with the plants, with the
animals, with the crystals, with the weather, with the Earth?
Because these are the questions that can take us on a journey of
evolutionary progress as we come full circle back to recognizing that some
indigenous wisdom was correct all along. Some of indigenous teachings are
not out of date, but closely correspond to some of our most current,
cutting-edge central concepts in quantum physics.
Indigenous wisdom always included Telepathy, which is a natural part of
deep listening. Some children's games that were played by First Nations
people in the United States were a bit like the Rock-Paper-Scissors
game—but played with animal forms, concealed behind their backs.
This game is wonderful fun, and it teaches practical real-life telepathy.
I hope you'll join me in thinking nonlinear thoughts like this,
communicating outside of any perceived limitations in the material world,
through all space and time.
And love itself—Original Love—is the love that we all
came forth from. It is the love that brought everything together and that
we're now returning to as we complete a full cycle of evolutionary growth.

Slipping Between Realities:
The Mandela Effect and
Multidimensional Awareness

In this interview, Cynthia and Ani discuss the unusual
timeline shifts, name shifts, and “reality shifts”
that occur with the Mandela Effect. Some current quantum theories support
the idea that we live and are involved in a multidimensional reality, and
Cynthia discusses how the Mandela Effect is a quantum phenomena that can be
supported by scientific theory and evidence. Cynthia and Ani discuss AI and
the shift that is occurring right now from the 4th world into the 5th
world, based upon indigenous oral history and prophecy. Cynthia emphasizes
that it is important to be an “active observer” and

Once after listening to an interview you gave, I set off
with an intention to have a clear experience on our malleable reality. I
went to the gas station and when I went to take off the gas cap to fill my
car, the cap—which had been fully untethered from it's cord for
many months - was suddenly reattached. I remember thinking, Of I wonder if
Jim has reattached it? Upon closer inspection, the cord was perfect, no
signs of being fixed. How strange. I continued to put gas in, but nothing
came out. The attendant came over and said I should use another pump, since
that one had just been cleaned. I drove to another one, got out, and
prepared again to fill the car with gas. Now—less than a minute
later—the cap was once again broken from its cord. I realized
then this was my clear experience of malleable reality. It was
extraordinary. (I think having been in your frequency field for an hour
that morning via the video—something in my field was activated.)
Just wanted to share that. Your work has meant so much to me and really has
helped loosen old patterns and open up to what's possible. I love your
video and your bright light. Thank you for staying here and doing what you
do.
Note from Cynthia: I'm so happy to hear that you saw such amazing
evidence of our magical malleable reality—wow! I love
how you witnessed that the gas cap was so clearly—and so
surprisingly—connected. And I love how you so closely examined
the gas cap, and were able to see that it was perfect, with no signs of
even having been repaired! Even though the cap quickly returned to its
previous untethered state, it now seems possible that you might again see
it fully repaired again at some point.

I want "sustainable, regenerative, and beautiful." All I have to offer to
get there: I try to watch movies like "The Last Mimzy" to get my thinking
out of the chaos. I reread "Incredibly Believable! Everything You Wanted
to Know about The Shift but did not know whom to ask" by Sunny Satin. Use
a gold grid a friend of mine placed over the Earth with numbers for each
square. They correspond to days in the year. That way, you pick
the number for each day and say something like 'Peace in Oneness'. You
don't know which number corresponds with an area, so any negative thinking
can't interfere. Our entertainment is negative; our news is negative.
It's hard for people to get out of negative thinking.

I know for definite that meta and google can hear us. But for a couple of
days there have been instances that allude that they can read thoughts.
Maybe 2 or 3 instances, too few for any legitimate query. But hey, this is
private message so why not. A few minutes back I was thinking about Fiona
Broome and moments later after opening Chrome news letter there was an
article by Fiona Bulia. Though yesterday I had visited a year old Reddit
post where I was a participant in discussions on Fiona Broome. Not that it
matters, but these things require a huge processing power. Are we entering
the Orwellian world. Or say something as fantastic as NWO by
Illuminati?

This is a good question, and I don't know whether we're entering into an
Orwellian world, where anything we think--even if we intend to keep our
thoughts private--seems to be picked up and responded to by our
technology. This ever-increasing synchrony between our thoughts and
the systems we're utilizing might indeed be due to the rapid increase in
efficacy of Artificial Intelligence to discern hitherto undetectable
patterns. Or perhaps as our technology becomes more sensitive,
there might be a bit of a new spontaneous renaissance of human-technology
interaction that some people (ie: Transhumanists) welcome. I'm in favor of
finding out how good it can get for all of us, and I therefore expect and
hope that humans--and non-humans--will enjoy free will in ways that are
non-invasive and non-destructive.

Dear Stephanie,
Optimal reality shifting is a complex matter--with much more in common with
becoming adept at something like martial arts (involving internal Qi,
strength, mental focus, etc) rather than following steps to cooking food
according to a recipe. People often expect a by-the-numbers recipe
approach, but individual factors can be absolute show-stoppers for some
people, such that what works for one person "doing the same thing" doesn't
work for someone else. Essentially, it matters how your internal
thoughts, feelings, and energies are--your mindset matters tremendously.
Some people literally feel they are cursed, so before they can even start
improving internal mindset, energy clearing is necessary. I've got a video
on YouTube about how you can Set Energetic Protection, and those four steps
shown are absolutely essential to make sure you're not getting knocked down
by negative energies. The next step is adopt a regular daily practice of
gratitude journaling--and you can also include positive dreams and reality
shift successes, so every time you flip this book open, it boosts your
energy and mood. Once you've done those, you might find following the
standard reality shifting practices according to videos and books will work
a lot better.
